It is dire, Maureen, but I hold on to the hope that there are Ds negotiating with moderate Rs in secret, to avoid the repercussions from their names being made public. Avoidance of threats of violence may not be completely possible, but it seems prudent to me, at least for the present, until the names come out in the vote.
