It may be true AND not the whole picture, which you, Jim Brown, bring to light. I vote Democratic but locally and nationally I see a need to refresh almost everything (especially healthcare, education, housing communities, water and food quality). Divisiveness and polarized thinking over-simplify and we all suffer. Whether it's a third party in gestation or an overhaul that's going to emerge? I see some younger and solidly competent Democrats and maybe they'll rise into influence, I don't know but it seems we each need to show up everyday with awareness and principled behavior. Your second paragraph rings true to me.
