I quote and refer to some old ideas that I think have preserved their merit, but not as any kind of proof of validity, only that social justice what the right wing now demonizes as "un-American" is really as American as apple pie. The right wing reaches back further, in content if not always phraseology, to an even older era of autocratic kings and feudalism, perhaps as far back as what are sometimes called "The Dark Ages".
