It seems to me that the Trump campaign has entered what I would call “cornered-rat mode”, snarling, baring teeth, and lashing out at VP Harris & Tim Walz. If Project 2025 is any guide, the Trump/MAGA vision for America seems to be a dark and repressive dystopia of white, fascist, authoritarian Christian nationalism. Is this what Americans really want?
Winston Churchill once said, “You can always count on Americans to do the right thing, after they have exhausted all the other possibilities.” I sure hope Americans don’t need to try out the Trump/MAGA possibility (again) to know it would be a disaster for the country and the world. Can we please do the “right thing” before trying all the wrong ones first?
Well said Don. This is why my message to everyone is: Vote Democrat from Kamala Harris down to the bottom of the ticket. No exceptions. If you care about protecting and perfecting our democracy, this is what you need to do.
