Senator Norris is responsible for Nebraska switching from a bi-cameral legislature to a unicameral body as you may be aware.
He traveled to all 93 counties in Nebraska drumming up support for the change and he succeeded.
It is pointless for many states to have 2 legislative bodies especially if both bodies have a supermajority of one of the parties. A state Senator in ME told me her goal is to get rid of the Senate in ME. Good idea I think.
