I have a question for you on the behavior of the Republican candidates for President and vice President regarding their piling on the false narrative of the Haitian immigrants in Springfield OH. Is it possible that such rhetoric from them could cause them to be charged with hate speech or even domestic terrorism, since they have definitely caused damage to the citizens of that city? Iād be really interested to learn if a normal citizen might face charges for causing this disruption.
It is so disheartening to hear the truth... I can only vote,,,, support my adult children's vote, and avoid talking to Republican supporters. I work social justice ministry on the ground in a Red State.

Nancy, I listen using an Android phone. When I pull up the audio controls for the podcast there is a small box with the letters CC inside. By tapping on the box you will turn the closed captioning on or off. I don't know if there is a similar functionality if you are using an iPhone.
Would you consider Joe McCarthyās example to fit into your idea of Republican leadership trying to strong arm the vote and destroy common democratic principles? I just heard Rachel Maddowās Ultra, which tells a convincing story
Correction: candidates not leadership. The party was controlled by more common sense people but narrowly and McCarthy was certainly for a time on the rise, courting literal Nazis and white supremacists, etc.
It is poetic justice if Mark Robinson sinks Donald Trump's presidential bid in North Carolina. Robinson began his insubstantial political career as an Internet troll -- a mini-Trump -- telling white supremacist Republicans what they wanted to hear, such as that he was ashamed of the Black race, and making denigrating remarks about the civil rights movement and MLK.
