CNN/SSRS has recently changed sampling to begin with mailed invites to know more about responders. Poll reporting used to say what sampling was right up front and for the sake of accuracy and my blood pressure they should again. Pollsters are maybe not trying to fool us but certainly making themselves more important than they are. It’s a big business.
