If you have Gmail, find those three little dots to the side, one says to Block. I only get a request once because once is too many. Then they are blocked. I hear the ding on my computer and know I've blocked an incoming e-mail. Once ActBlue pulled that dirty trick of putting in teeny tiny print "make your contribution weekly" with the box already checked, I e-mailed them telling them they had lost me. The Red team tried that first.
Quite. ActBlue pissed me off with that too, but I assume they got lots of complaints, because the "make it monthly" button is right next to a button that says "skip it."
I put in a donation for John Tester for $50 and it said they would give him $25 and ActBlue $25. I cancelled the donation and sent him a check. I'm not making this up. Maybe it was because I didn't tip them.
That is absolutely unconscionable. I don't blame you. But I believe they have mended their evil ways now, and I use them, and I usually don't leave a tip - it's easier than mailing, for me.
Know what you mean. I try to donate $25 to Harris with every paycheck, and now I'm thinking since she has so much, it might be better to donate to others. I don't have much to spare either.
Although her campaign is funding other candidates, the locals are the ones who probably need it the most. Not sure I have locals where I am who are Democrats, but I'm looking for them.

They did me too when they wanted half my donation.
Please explain - they wanted "half" your donation?

Perhaps I'll try again. I'm about all tapped out on donations but I might find a nickel or two.
