I consider myself the end of an era as I doubt my progeny will live as comfortably as I, or breath the fresh air that has filled my lungs, or the clean water to quench my thirst, belonging to a vibrant union to fight for my benefits and working conditions, I could not have imagined that our beautiful democracy would have been undermined so completely in such a short time. The future will be difficult and we will have to start at the bottom, electing progressive candidates at every level of local and state government or the house of cards will collapse. Let's get started before its too late!
