I’m tired of apple keyboards skipping “n” and “m.” They produce defective products and genius support tried making me thinki was imagining this skipping but it’s only been recurring for 7 years. Anyone else have this issue?

Totally agree. Sometimes what appears has random letters and spaces that I absolutely didn’t type.

My Mac goes somewhere else in the message when I type the letter"y". Very annoying!

Isn't your comment editable?

Sometimes my comments are forcibly edible. I've had to eat my words before. 😂😂😂 Sorry, sometimes I can't help myself. 😅

If you click the ellipsis to the lower right of your post, you have the option to edit. I don't know how long it's available for a given post, though.

No. If I see a mistake when I post, I copy, delete, and paste as a new comment. This post has too many responses to delete now.

Dude - I've got a Dell... The keyboard is narrow and the "A" always skips.

If I change position so I can smash the a-key, then something else drops off. One thing at least, it's forced me to proofread just so I don't look worse than I already am.

I think it’s actually getting worse. Trying to get the cursor into place to edit has become ridiculous.

I have a problem with M (Just had to hit that twice) but not N. I thought it was a problem just with my Mac ( had to hit that twice).

My Asus laptop had on many occasions, as I was typing, automatically deleted what I was writing. Absolutely infuriating. After taking it in for a new hard drive, the problem disappeared. No explanation by any of the technicians as to what it could have been. BTW, the new hard drive only cost me $64.00.

I have an Asus where I had a lot of trouble typing and editing comments, and the problem was that if I touched or came near the touchpad, something unpredictable happened, like deletions. The problem went away after I disabled the touchpad, which I wasn't going to use anyway.
