So all of these brilliant people come out now , 11 days before the election to say what intelligent, well read, interested , and patriotic Americans have known since January 6, 2020. Where have they been?

I agree. But better late than not at all?

HCR - "Yesterday, twenty-three Nobel Prize-winning economists warned that Trump’s economic plans would “lead to higher prices, larger deficits, and greater inequality.”

This makes no difference. Every single economist and financial expert said (repeatedly) that Brexit in the UK would be an unmitigated disaster. But they voted for it anyway.

There was extensive Russian intervention and disinformation then too.

Breaking up the EU - Putin scored a goal there.

I agree. Economists saying that the current US economy has never been stronger when most Americans are looking at their inflation-ravaged bank accounts in disbelief is hurting the credibility of Democrats more than revealing the poor policies of Republicans.

Great lesson on the importance of your vote. The Republican is unrecognizable at this moment, because of its’ stark differences. While this is definitely frightening, there’s hope if people come out and vote, and Republicans realign with what America means to them and to the World.

I attended a naturalization ceremony here in Chicago this week. The judge welcomed 95 immigrants from 35 countries to the United States. She spoke of their rights and responsibilities. They pledged their allegiance to the U.S.

Many years ago, my Mom and Dad came here with me from London. My Mom was a Holocaust survivor and my Dad served in the Polish army. We came here for a better life, and that’s the promise !

So after listening to our history, I’m hopeful that we won’t go back. 🇺🇸 VOTE !

Bless your dear mother!! and your father for his service! What wonderful gifts to have them in our country (and you too). And how fun to attend a naturalization ceremony. Bless everyone of them as well. May they find acceptance and respect in Chicago.

Dearly wish this 11:30 minutes would be up front ON Fox and One news... To the MAGA diehards... For when I confronted them they said I was " Dead Wrong "... I softly said ' I am neither dead nor wrong! "

Dear Heather, Thank you for your thoughtful posts/podcasts! And I REALLY appreciated the post recently about disability (air travel / ASL interpretation). I am a disability activist and the possibility of re-electing Trump truly terrifies me. I am grateful you are helping to keep us informed and that you are providing perspective. By the way, I cited you in my most recent Substack Post -- thanks again for all you do: https://gaelynnlea.substack.com/p/post-18-the-platform-comparison?utm_source=activity_item
