It is getting nuttier by the hour, isn’t it…? Thank you for helping to keep me hopeful and sane. 💕

Trump’s refusals to 1) a second debate with Kamala Harris; 2) his refusal of a “60 Minutes” interview, and so on seems to mean he’s afraid of being challenged with his own failings, as happened in his receiving questions from a Latino community. His skin is very thin when it comes to being mocked, as Dr. Richardson noted; and he hated being roasted by Barack Obama at a correspondents dinner (meant to be humorous). Think of how easily foreign leaders could manipulate him, since his fears and projection are always there for all to see.

Of course, he could be manipulated by flattery (Kim Jong Un love letters?) or by adulation of crowds of his supporters. These neuroses can be used by those who want to dominate him. I saw an article in WAPO about the original interview of Trump by Woodward and Bernstein back some 30+ years ago. Fortunately they found the tape recording of that interview! But what is interesting is his expressing concerns about whether people in his orbit back then were really friends, and maybe he should test them. The interview also showed that he has been consistent in his way of thinking since those early days; not to say that he was more ethical back then versus today of course not since he has no empathy or remorse).

So he seems to be going into a cocoon, or hunkering down to plan his next insurrection if he loses - only this time, with guns blazing.

The point is he really is unstable and weakened by his lack of verbal discipline. He’s a very unattractive candidate; kind of like an over-the-hill Caesar…….

Hi heather

Is there a way I can get these podcasts in the form of a newsletter? I used too and they have all changed to podcasts.

Thank you

Linda, in case Heather doesn’t get to this right away, I’ll mention that suddenly I stopped receiving the nightly email post by Heather. I sought it out on the app and listened or read, but yesterday I went to the actual Substack website, not the app. Then I found Heather‘s Account. I knew I was paid up. There were 4 little slider buttons; all had been turned off for some reason. So I slid to “on” to receive the print version, this audio version, and even some other incidental posts she publishes. Why it turned itself off? I have no idea. But we’re back in business in our household. I hope this helps.

Heather, you describe the confusion and downright evil behind the lies regarding FEMA. I saw this article about fake Medicare cancellation letters being sent to citizens.. Would this not be illegal?

I mean, it’s an actual document.

It’s impersonating an agency which they do not run. Out and out lie. Falsehood!

I can’t imagine it could be considered first amendment rights of free speech.

Thoughts?

My favorite quote and I can’t remember who said it, “Be a man, Vote for a woman!”

Heather, my husband, Frank Sanitate, just published the article on a possible plan to reform our government on Substack :The Plan to Reform Our Government - by Frank Sanitate (substack.com). It seems far-reaching in how to deal with the top ten “evils” of our “democracy”. I am wondering if you might have any comment on the ideas he expresses. Thanks.
