Problem = money. Show me a problem that is not caused by money. That maybe a bit oversimplified, but mostly true.

Actually, money solves a lot of problems. It’s the love of money that is the root of all evil. I mean, look at 45. He loves money. And he’s definitely up to no good.

Is 45 a problem, without money he would not be a problem. Money can solve problems that is called not problem but problem solving. When money is allocated to solve a problem and the funds are not applied corrected usually due to some greedy SOB. Think of all the things that government tries to do, but there is too often someones who has paid off a bureaucrat to get a contract to screw the gov. Corruption is almost always a matter of money.

My dad taught me early that money is only a tool. It's how you use it that makes the difference.

I wish the Democrats would use at least some of the money to counter the unbalanced reporting being done, the misleading polls being reported. Take out a full page ad detailing how the economy has improved and how it's on course to continue improving. Describe the world situation in ways that show how they can be managed correctly vs. the reporting of doom and gloom and the sensationalism of bloodshed and cruelty. Talk about what Democrats will do for the country, not about how much we should fear and cower before the Republicans. Stop asking for dollars and tell us how you have and would create legislation. Instead of telling us to panic, tell us how to counter the Republicans and corporations and oligarchs ourselves. We don't have to pay $100/barrel of oil -- we know how to withhold our money from those who harm us or our allies. Stop representing yourselves, and represent us.

I agree completely and, just to put a slightly different spin on this idea, would say that greed is the driver.
