It weird. He could have been a hero. God knows he needs no more money. Yet he feels the compulsion to treat people like crap, like the election workers he recently employed. He could not be bothered to do it right, or even legally, and he thinks he's so rich and special that it's never going to bite him.

Wow, the vet gave my cat that and she was deaf from then on. And she was one that had WYA on her chart. I said whatтАЩs that? Watch Your Ass, the reply. She loved to cause chaos. Seems similar somehow. She didnтАЩt have unlimited power, but Lordy, everybody did WYA. We should tooтАж

All animals are at the mercy of KINDNESS AND THE MOST VICIOUS GREED AND CRUELTY. Cruelty to animals sends me around the bend. Helpless and loving with a smidge of provocation. Treasures to us all. Some to be avoided at all costs but never as cruel as nature herself is.

So true, often first sign of behavioral problems in kids. Heard more stories as counselor in public school than I can bear sometimes.

Is nature cruel? We'd have to show intention and consciousness to say that. Hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis and wildfires have no intention - they just are.

Absolutely! Imagine what he COULD do for the greater good of mankind with all that money!

And just a thought that ran through my head last night, when I heard the news that his "lottery" could continue: he is wealthy enough that he could buy the vote of every voter in the US. What is to stop someone like him from doing so? Would those who would enforce election laws turn away money to themselves and all in their family?
