The most openly corrupt government in American history!!!

That was to be expected... Everyone voting for the Orangeman knew what they were getting and voted for him anyway or stayed home.

Whether it was the high prices of groceries or the obvious lack of Democratic support for Palestine or that the country needed to be run like a business ...

Everyone had their petty reasons to turn the USA into yet another hellhole autocracy. Pretty sure many people will regret their vote in the next few months as we're about to find out if the Senate can be the guardrail protecting #UsThePeople - not holding my breath, though.

There will be dragons!

Well, you got a number of things wrong here first of all there’s a lot of support for Palestine what there’s not a lot of support for is HAMAS AND HEXBOLLAH and it’s two different creatures and you might wanna learn that. I don’t know what hellhole you’re talking about but the majority of Americans don’t think like you don’t hate like you and thank God for that. Biden took this country and turn it into a garbage pile and but Trump is going to fix that. And he’s going to fix it fast whether you like it or not

So, when will he terminate the Constitution? Is that what you voted for him to do?

When he decimates the authority of the NIH and CDC, who ya gonna call when the bird flu comes for you and yours? When he decimates the DOJ, the FBI, and the 18 intel agencies with Tulsi Gabbard, will any of our allies, especially Israel, share sensitive information with the U.S.? When he decimates the Joint Chiefs of Staff and purges the Pentagon, who ya gonna call when Emperor Xi and Czar Putin attack U.S. interests and allies in coordinated fashion. What good is the State Department if you fire all the diplomats?

Think how you would feel, if you can, that is, if a Harris trifecta just announced that they will fire any guvmint employee if they ever gave even $10 to the Republican Party. So, when does he use the military to suppress demonstrations, by calling anyone who exercises his or her rights of free speech and assembly a terrorist? Will Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn (fired for erratic leadership, then later pardoned for lying about acting as a foreign agent) be in charge of declaring martial law reviewing every nonpartisan military officer, or jailing our best generals for doing their job? Will he invite the Taliban to the White House? Will he put Mike Lindell in charge of (does anybody know what Mike would be good at?)? What about Mike Pence - will he be hung to assuage Trump’s bruised and fragile ego, or just placed under house arrest, with an ankle bracelet? What will he do when Nettanyahu starts a full-scale war with Iran, and he asks Trump to send hundreds of thousands of U. S. Service members to fight Israel’s war for them? Sure, Hamas is evil incarnate and Hezbollah is Iran’s proxy army, but does that justify killing every civilian in Gaza directly or through starvation and disease? Does it require killings millions of innocent Iranians just because they have a vile regime? That’s collective punishment for them allowing terrorists to operate their society. Oh, I almost forgot: what to do when the massive heat waves, floods, wildfires, large hail, hurricanes and typhoons tear the Old South into a million pieces and you can’t afford home insurance anymore (because the Whopper says climate change is a hoax). Will he give your family room in his bunker? Anyway, just thinkin’!

Heil to King Trump, his Crown Prince J.D.v. And their Grand Financier, Elon the DOGE!! Years ago I called it the WCO: the World Corporate Oligarchy. And now it has reached the implementation phase. I also call it the Fifth Reich. Sorry to disappoint you. I have an entire library about fascists and their evil deeds. The great journalist Dorothy Thompson interviewed Hitler in 1931 and she asked him how he would transform the German state and he told her precisely how he would do it. In later years she wrote about how she could tell who would “Go Nazi” versus who would never “Go Nazi”. By using Hitler’s rhetoric: um, let’s see: vermin; enemies of the state; poisoning the blood of our nation; the enemy within that is more dangerous than Russia or China…. I could go on but if you can’t get the point, then you must be a bored Stalinist in a Russian embassy somewhere doing an analysis of trump’s American opponents. Can you be more dense or are you just an oppositional AI algorithm? Done with you, kiss your butt goodby cause neither Trump nor Russia have any desire to improve your life or that of your family (that is, if you are a real human with a family and not an Ai creature).

Yes, and many people believe in climate change is a hoax, but beyond that let me ask you this. One of the reasons people believe it’s a hoax is because almost every prediction about it has been wrong. Climate is not weather back in the 60s every single Periódico and newspaper talked about the coming ice age!! that’s right I’ll look it up. They said that the ice sheet will cover North America as far south as the Carolinas. In the meantime, almost. every prediction of the current century has been wrong. Here’s the funny thing about climate change. If you never heard the word, climate change on television or in the newspapers, how would you know anything is happening. The funniest comedian I’ve ever seen used to make fun of the weatherman weatherman would say let’s go to the map and the committee would say why would you go to the map let’s go to the window. Obviously it’s humor but it’s pretty funny.

We can’t yet even predict the weather beyond a few days and many times we get it wrong, including almost every single hurricane prediction in the last 20 years. This year was even worse for them when they predicted an over abundance of storms almost every single one of them occurring in the north Atlantic, when most of the storms that cause any damage born in the Gulf of Mexico. And even one of them turned south instead of North, can you imagine that I’ve never seen it and I grew up in Florida

But here’s the kicker we can’t predict the weather, but even worse, we can’t control the weather, even though we’ve tried for 100 years. And you’re talking about controlling the climate when we can’t even control the weather you certainly can’t control volcanic activity nor earthquakes we can’t control forest fires they happen every single year we can’t control floods, so what can we control CO2 emissions? What a joke. Maybe we could have a fund that could cure all disease. and also have a fund that would cure climate change. We just had a global pandemic did that have any impact on whether truth is, we don’t know what will happen tomorrow

And I don’t even know why we’re talking about this honestly because a congresswoman said that we only have six more years to live, so enjoy yourself. In the meantime. if you’d like more data on the climate change BS, let me know

It's better for our Democracy that the corruption is unmistakably visible. The thing is that there has always been corruption at one level or another. As humans, we are all perfectly imperfect. It is my greatest hope that the brave souls who are willing to stand up and. speak out will continue to do so. And to the best of my ability, I will stand with them. Huh? What were their crimes? They simply applied the letter of the law to a one-man crime wave, and his criminal henchmen and their white nationalist and neo-Nazi recruits. Problem is that Trump can’t just dismiss the civil judgements against him, the New York criminal case sentencing, and the Georgia election fraud case, unless the states of New York and Georgia decide that he really is a king now and obviate the rule of law, which is really what the U.S. dollar as a world reserve currency is based on. But that won’t matter much after he destroys the economy with his tariffs, deportation, high inflation and trade wars in a misguided bid to force other countries to build all their factories here. The very people who voted for Trump will bear the greatest harm. What country would want to build factories in a country run by a madman?

Wake me up!

Trump is ineligible according to the Constitution to hold office because he is an oath-breaking insurrectionist. He has conned and gamed his way back to office thanks to a vulnerable low information electorate. He is not only about to take that oath to the Constitution again, but it sounds like he's got a wrecking ball ready and building force. If the Senate approves these wholly unfit characters he has lined up for vital offices, his cabinet and other offices, the Senate will be complicit in the destruction and unmaking of our government. It will take years to recover. if we do. This is revolution and insurrection, not conservatism.

True conservatives, ironically, appear to be the Democrats who want to preserve what we have built for almost 250 years. What a celebration would that be over the ashes of what we have kept going and building proudly as a multicultural representative democracy.

And that destruction will happen because in this critical election our "dear" oppositional voters were willing to elect this crook, this ill-willed self serving conman, they say because of (what) inflation and a trumped up false idea about immigrants or Gaza or nebulous ideas about "elites". Some were so tuned out altogether, did not care, or have fallen for incessant lies of right wing media. Or they were not ready for a woman president (demonstrably qualified). Many just stayed home.. including democrats. I don't deserve this, you don't deserve this, but they do deserve what's coming. However we are on the same ship... unless you are leaving. I am not. Even then, this will affect the world.

The minute he takes office the economy will miraculously be great and no carnage in the cities no crime no immigration problem at the border. The rich men will be in their counting houses very happy.

The real conservatives the Democrats who wanted to keep. to preserve the nation we have been building first almost 250 years … they will have little power to affect, to stop, the destruction taking place… at least for a couple of years.

The ensuing inflation began the day that Biden started shutting down oil and gas. And as soon as Trump opens it up, you’re going to watch it come back down again. Now you seemed earlier like a levelheaded guy but now I’m getting worried about you. Crime is actually up. The initial data was amended the following day to show that but of course they don’t show that on your go Google it immigration is down? 11,000,000 people not to mention the getaways have been let him so I don’t know what video you’ve been looking at but they just had 35,000 people on their way here that turned around the minute that he got elected.

The Palestinians are living a do it to yourself self-inflicted wound a few years ago, they were given billions of dollars to create a water plant and electrical plant and instead they voted for Hamas to be their governing body and only spent their money on fighting with Israel and weaponry. You really need to do some research. Sorry. Do you hear what you just said the current state of the Middle East why don’t you Google this provide me a list of all the terrorist groups in the world and almost every single one is Muslim oooops. Israel was given a small piece of land of the size of New Jersey in 1948 versus the Muslim lands or Arab lands the size of the United States, and they’re arguing over the sliver of land that was given to them? Wow. Piece will ensue now that Trump is in power. And by the way, Trump is already on the phone two days after his election with the leader of the Palestinians. Not some weak minion like , blinkin.

You’ll be very disappointed that things will not only be under control, but American will shine again, and if you don’t like that, there were plenty of other places in the world that you’re welcome to live

Expand full comment

Yes, America will shine again if Trump doesn’t resist his inner urge to use nuclear weapons and no one is left to stand up to an illegal order.

By the way, the high inflation was almost entirely the result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and it happened worldwide because Trump’s friends, the Masters of the Universe on Wall Street and C-Suites outsourced all the manufacturing jobs and created a fragile supply system. The stimulus programs and so on did not cause the high inflation!

Trump will ensure that inflation is controlled here, first by corrupting the DOJ and DHS; then placing tariffs on anything imported; then deporting millions of undocumented people including family members of U.S. citizens. This will tank the economy and lead to the Trump Depression - better get those precious metals now! The slashing of federal guvmint services and contracts will further tank the economy. The price of everything, especially groceries and housing will skyrocket. I think the rate of inflation in Russia is around 20%. Get ready, you’ll be winning so much your head will be spinning!

"Operation Warp Speed was arguably Trump’s single most successful policy as president. It saved an extraordinary number of lives at a remarkably low cost. But the Republican Party turned against vaccines, Trump abandoned his own policy, and he is now appointing the nation’s leading vaccine skeptic to run the Department of Health and Human Services." .....Ezra Klein in today's NYTimes

the particulars of how Trump misused his bully pulpit to misinform people about Covid and the vaccines he is* claiming he is responsible for* is THE story. All the while Trump had a very bad case of Covid and had sterling care, the BEST, from the government.

He may be a skeptic of vaccines, but he has a right to be, but he will not do anything to decline or deny them as he has stated on many occasions. There are a list of people who died from the vaccine, but just like those that died from Covid there were other complicating matters in either case.

I don’t think he misinformed the vote. The voters on Covid. I think if you change the channels enough, you would see things that he never said on liberal media that he did say on conservative media. By the way, I’m not sure if you were aware that Biden had as many people die from Covid as Trump and had a two-year Headstart not blaming Biden just the fact that it was a once and century issue very very hard to deal with no matter your politics

As a private citizen RFKjr certainly has a right to be a skeptic. But as a public servant, this is irresponsible given the science and public health considerations.

Your rationalizing is very strained... about lists of those who died from the vaccine.. there are lists for everything you can imagine. RFKjr used the Kennedy name at the objection of the Kennedy family to misinform the public including when running for public office. What you think is very clear; you are one of the defenders of Trump regardless of the facts.

NPR May 2022:

"Even with widely available vaccines and newly effective treatments, residents of counties that went heavily for Donald Trump in the last presidential election are more than twice as likely to die from COVID-19 than those that live in areas that went for President Biden. That's according to a newly-updated analysis from NPR, examining how partisanship and misinformation are shaping the pandemic."..

"The scale of the preventable loss of life is staggering. According to a recent analysis by Brown University, nearly 320,000 lives nationwide could have been saved if more people had chosen to get vaccinated. The Brown analysis also shows a partisan split in how those preventable deaths are distributed. States that went most heavily for Trump – including Wyoming and West Virginia– have among the highest rates of preventable deaths, while states that voted heavily for Biden –such as Massachusetts and Vermont – had among the lowest."

______

THAT's because while Trump's Administration fast tracted the vaccine, the MESSAGE was equivocal with Trump shrugging his shoulders and suggesting dangerous remedies instead.

REAGARDING the Biden stats.. uses your brain if you can. Trump was dealing with( while denying and equivocating on the evidence and warnings) the very BEGINNING of this epidemic before it spread widely. Biden had the bulk of it to deal with. How do you know who died from Covid whether they got sick during Trump's time in office, delaying treatment or lingering with Covid until Biden came in and then died?

Don't answer please.

The "brilliant" Trump pushed Abraham [peace] Accords had quite a lot to do with the Hamas attack on Israel October 7th 2023 the halt in the agreement resulting from the ensuing and continuing war. With Israel poised to take over more land Arabs cannot continue to deal with Israel normally.

There are many articles to cite PLUS quotes from Hamas leaders who were talking to those who would ask and listen.

--------------------------

https://responsiblestatecraft.org/abraham-accords-peace-middle-east/

"...over time, the priorities of the Arab states shifted away from the Palestinians, too. Their largely authoritarian leadership became more preoccupied with matters like maintaining political control in the wake of the Arab Spring protests — for which support from an advanced military power like Israel might prove useful — and an increasingly assertive Iran, which then-newly appointed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman called a “much more urgent and more important” issue.

This shift dovetailed with the Trump administration’s ultra-Israel-friendly stance and its own goal of further isolating Iran in the region. The resulting Abraham Accords were, at least in the neoconservative world, considered a stroke of “genius.” Rather than finding a solution to the seemingly intractable question of Palestinian statehood, it simply sidelined it.

The signers dropped this long-standing precondition as they re-established diplomatic relations and deepened security and economic cooperation with Israel, while Trump lavished them with rewards, like an arms deal for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and U.S. recognition of the annexation of West Sahara for Morocco. It effectively supplanted the Saudi government’s Arab Peace Initiative, which since its 2002 introduction had been the foundation of the Arab world’s program for resolving the conflict, placing the Palestinians front and center.

The new normalization agreements’ foundational and cynical assumption was that the plight of the Palestinians could and would be safely ignored and forgotten about by both the region’s governments and the broader international community. Both the Trump administration and, reportedly, bin Salman, pressured Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to assent, while the states that signed continued paying lip service to the Palestinian cause, claiming this normalization push would halt Israel’s annexation plans for its illegal West Bank settlements."

Israel too is living in this forever war....

President-elect Biden inherited an economy from President Trump in shambles with the greatest economic collapse in the post-World War II era due to COVID-19.

However, by, contrast, President-elect Trump is receiving the strongest economy in modern history which is the envy of the world. Despite understandable concerns about post-Covid inflation, prices continue to fall as wages rise. President Trump will likely claim he waved a magic wand on January 20 and the economic clouds cleared since he declared, in error, during the debate with Biden, “I had no inflation, virtually no inflation. [Biden-Harris] had the highest inflation perhaps in the history of our country because I’ve never seen a worse period of time...People can’t go out and buy cereal or bacon or eggs or anything else. The people of our country are absolutely dying with what [Biden and Harris have] done. They’ve destroyed the economy.”

The Biden economy, at its worst in fighting post-Covid supply chain snags, was not even one third of the worst inflation the U.S. has battled. But the Biden Administration worked to fight inflation by resolving the surge of a reopened economy with over 100 ships backed up in the Los Angeles harbor waiting a month to unload cargo in 2021 with parallel conditions in harbors, railroads, and airports around the nation.

There have been studies that examined Trump's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and attempted to estimate the number of avoidable deaths, just not from the Brookings Institution.

A 2021 article from the medical journal Lancet said there were “tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths” during the pandemic in part because of what it described as "disdain for science" and less funding for public health agencies. The study estimated that 40% of deaths in the U.S. “could have been averted had the U.S. death rate mirrored the weighted average of the other G7 nations.”

Well, I have to wholeheartedly disagree This country went through a once a century pandemic, Donald Trump save millions of lives by getting through vaccines that normally take five years and got them in less than a year. He also saved over 100,000 businesses. And this would’ve never happened, had not been for an assistance from Mr. Fauci in the Wuhan lab. Who then made up fake remedies like 6 foot distancing, etc. which you later admitted.

You should also look up some statistics that state that at least 75% if not more of Covid deaths were not from Covid, but for from secondary elements which exacerbated the effects of Covid I myself have had Covid four times And I got the first two injections by mandate and have not had any since. Obama did nothing except divide this country by race he created BLM and antifa. He told of the ACA, which now insures 5% of the insurable public. As if it’s the anathema of all health plans. And then he came on the scene this year to degrade the mental capacity of his own race. Shameful.

What do you talk about the economy that Trump inherited? I believe you are very miss guided. And you might want to just look at the link that I sent out earlier regarding trump administration, accomplishments dismiss what you’d like, as I enter the code by saying a man sees what he wants to see the disregards the rest relating to this particular link we all know what prices were when Biden took office. We all know what the immigration policies were and we all know that the liberals did everything they could to stop the wall from construction would’ve prevented the waste of billions and hundreds of billions of dollars on a illegal entry of thousands of criminals and deaths and rapes that were absolutely unnecessary.

You might also want to give a slight modicum of credit to the 75 million people that saw that and put Trump back in the White House basket of deplorable’s didn’t work too well for Hillary Clinton, and everyone else who took the same route. There was an air of optimism in this country, and you should try to join that and make yourself happy until there’s a reason to feel differently. I’m done for the day. Have a good one.

Trump Takes Credit For Vaccine Created By Others, Including Immigrants

https://www.forbes.com/sites/stuartanderson/2020/12/01/trump-takes-credit-for-vaccine-created-by-others-including-immigrants/

----------------

....."Donald Trump did not invent or develop the vaccines to combat Covid-19, despite his claim he should receive the credit. Ironically, immigrants played the crucial role in developing the vaccines, a group Trump as president has vilified. It’s fair to say if Trump administration immigration policies had been in place years earlier, including policies on international students, employment-based immigrants and H-1B and L-1 visa holders, the individuals instrumental in making the Covid-19 vaccines a reality would never have lived or worked in America.

After the recent election, Trump alleged that Pfizer withheld the results of the vaccine trials to hurt him politically, even though the pharmaceutical company did not receive the results of the trials until November 8, five days after Election Day (November 3). The following week, Moderna received the results of its vaccine trials. Both trials showed “vaccine efficacy” (effectiveness) of over 90%. The companies await emergency authorization from the Food and Drug Administration to begin vaccine distribution.

On Thanksgiving, after alleging fraud in the general election, Trump took credit for the vaccines"

Trump did not save millions of lives. He cannot take credit for what was done with his approval but in spite of him in many ways. How many people drank bleach or used ivermectin? he worked against lock downs and personally did not want to wear a mask. Then he got VERY sick himself. STILL he did not push for getting vaccinated, masking and distancing.

Biden cleaned up the disastrous mess that Trump allowed the country to become when he openly lied to the American People about how the virus was nothing and how it would just… “go away” like the flu. Trump presided over the greatest mass-casualty loss of life since the 1918-19 flu pandemic; he apparently “didn’t want to cause a panic” so he mismanaged every opportunity to lessen the deaths. But nooo- he had to promote ivermectin (killed 17,000 people?) and hydroxychloroquin and rail against public health measures such as lockdowns and masks.

Let’s set the record straight: Trump is a mass murder because of his incompetent leadership during the pandemic; and now he can preside over another mass murder, when the avian flu comes home to roost. Where’s Dr. Fauci when you need him? You just can’t get good help anymore after you’ve demonized all public civil servants! Hope you don’t need any guvmint services for the next four years.

Rick Sender...STOP SPREADING DIS/MIS information conspiracy theory propaganda, taking your marching orders from MAGA. What you and others on the side of chaos and confusion are doing is destroying any trust in the truth or ability to know truth especially in science. The favorite whipping "boy", the one to take down, is the respected Dr. Fauci, one of our great Americans. Sowing untruths and confusion pairs with loving the ignorant and vulnerable and being against education. In this case it was LETHAL. DEmocracy needs informed citizens. You and the people you get your info from work against that, against the country.

These are from very long pieces which no doubt you will skip over because you don't want facts... too complicated.

---------------

"In June 2023, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence declassified their report on the virus' origins, in compliance with an Act of Congress compelling it to do so.[174] The report stated that while the lab leak theory could not be ruled out, the overall assessment of the National Intelligence Council and a majority of IC assets (with low confidence) was that the pandemic most likely began as a zoonotic event.[175][176] No evidence was found that SARS-CoV-2 or a progenitor virus existed in a laboratory, and there was no evidence of any biosafety incident.[17]Proponents of the lab leak hypothesis reacted by accusing the agencies of conspiring with the Chinese, or of being incompetent.[17] Covering the story for the Sydney Morning Herald, its science reporter Liam Mannix wrote that the US report marked the end of the lab leak case, and that it had ended "not with a bang, but a whimper".[17][176] "

This is sourced info from here. Read it if you can get your head to focus away from propaganda.

And this:

"In August 2024 the Lancet Microbe published an editorial saying it is “simply wrong" to assert that SARS-CoV-2 is of unnatural origin, and ascribed continued interest in the unnatural origin idea to irresponsible journalism and political motivation. The editorial expressed concern that the furore around the virus's origins had a "chilling effect" on legitimate virology research and could jeopardise mankind's safety from pathogens in the future.[248]"

No. The only reason that Operation Warp Spped was even possible is that two dedicated researchers at U Penn spent thirty years developing the basis for mRNA vaccines. Trump took credit for their work, but it was too late since he convinced millions of Americans (mostly his own supporters) not to get the vaccination; so a great many of them died or are now in long-covid thanks to their Dear Leader who can speak no wrong.

The Biden Administration was responsible for the wide distribution of the vaccine. Trump "left office" January 2021. Biden came in January 2021. Biden admin was working against the anti-vax mis and disinformation of Trump & co. To this day the stats reflect the difference ( cited above) of the virus's death toll between red states and blue states.

............ again from Wikipedia.. SOURCED.

"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) first granted emergency use authorization to the Pfizer–BioNTech vaccine on December 10, 2020,[7] and mass vaccinations began four days later. The Moderna vaccine was granted emergency use authorization on December 17, 2020,[8] and the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine was granted emergency use authorization on February 27, 2021.[9] It was not until April 19, 2021, that all U.S. states had opened vaccine eligibility to residents aged 16 and over.[10] On May 10, 2021, the FDA approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for adolescents aged 12 to 15.[11] On August 23, 2021, the FDA granted full approval to the Pfizer–BioNTech vaccine for individuals aged 16 and over.[12]

The U.S. government began the campaign under the presidency of Donald Trump with Operation Warp Speed, a public–private partnership to expedite the development and manufacturing of COVID-19 vaccines. Joe Biden became the new President of the United States on January 20, 2021. Biden had an immediate goal of administering 100 million vaccine doses within his first hundred days in office, and signed an executive order which increased supplies for vaccination.[13][14][15] This goal was met on March 19, 2021.[16] On March 25, 2021, he announced he would increase the goal to 200 million within his first 100 days in office.[17] This goal was reached on April 21, 2021.[18]

By July 4, 2021, 67% of the United States' adult population had received at least one dose, just short of a goal of 70%. This goal was met on August 2, 2021. While vaccines have helped significantly reduce the number of new COVID-19 infections nationwide, states with below-average vaccination rates began to see increasing numbers of cases credited to the highly infectious Delta variant by July 2021, which led to an increased push by organizations and companies to begin imposing de facto mandates for their employees be vaccinated for COVID-19."

Trump always points away from himself and accuses others of what he's going to do or what he's already done. But this time, he couldn't help telling us in more ways than one that the election was already in the bag. All his followers needed to do was go out and vote to make it look legitimate. There were several cases of these, including telling Christians they'd never have to vote after this time, or telling his followers, "We've already laid the groundwork for victory; all you need to do is go out and vote."
