Lisa, I noticed this board is full of anxiousness and angst among most commenters. Some may indeed be disingenuous with names unrecognizable to me, whose intent is to spread chaos in the minds and souls of readers
Tuesday's results are more a summary of America at this time; ALL these other concerns are secondary. THE overarching trend in America is toward left-of-center, with results in GA and AZ over 2020 and 2022 highlighting this transformation. Simply put, the Heritage Foundation lost big time on Tuesday! These fools will be THE topic of 2024
Our winning started in 2018, and has continued through every election since.
I don't post my picture or write much information about myself because of the creepy white Christian men that want to follow me. It got bad. I've been married for 41 yrs to a union Ironworker. I was a drug and alcohol counselor for years. Ive got kids and grandchildren And I've always been involved in politics. I'm an optimist. Otherwise how could be a Democrat.
Frederick, actually most of this board are positive thinkers and doing a lot themselves as volunteers and democrats. Some folks are fearful, but that's to be expected I guess. But almost all of us are totally in line with Heather and Joyce, we will let our Votes speak loud.
There are the occasional genuine trolls who pop up and then tend to disappear. There are a few that I think are truly leftist, truly hard progressive, and a few liberalish-trad GOP. You can usually tell the trolls as they don't respond well to discussions and often resort to name calling, or responding while obviously not reading all that they reacted to. I find the back and forth discussions of sincere readers to be refreshing, and I often learn something that elaborates on the subject.
I do agree though about the level of anxiety. Sometimes it is so palpable that it wears me down and I take a few days off from the comments.
Ok, I will. And yes, Tuesday I was happy and relieved. Made a cocktail and cheered.
