What's even more discouraging is that Trump is attracting big crowds, such as in New Jersey this weekend. Even if the unofficial estimates of 80,000 are way off, it was way too many people. A lot of these people seem to believe that Trump is enduring a "Biden show trial." apnews.com/article/trump-new-jersey-pre… This is preposterous, of course. I presume that Trump has little chance of winning New Jersey, previously a deep blue state in presidential politics. But the fact that so many Americans apparently remain part of the Trump cult is terrifying. The latest NYT polling suggests Biden is losing to Trump in five swing states.
