Just for the accurate record, the id.me changes were underway well before Trump took office. The SSA started that transfer under Biden's administration. I have had my id.me connecting to SSA working for over 6 months with no problems. So this is nothing new and not apparently related to anything Trump or DOGE put in place for SSA.

Thank you for this clarification, sorry I hadn’t known about it. Seems like everything happening now is a 5 alarm fire, I forget that some things are as they should be!!
