Why are they not fighting these changes? Because they either believe the changes are best for the country or they aren't paying attention. I have had conversations with people who simply support the right's belief in their stance on the culture wars. They see the left as having gone too far and believe the country needs a correction. Some simply aren't interested or don't "have the time" or energy. Personally, I think that we've had it good for so long good people just don't understand that there is no rule stating it has to remain this way.
