I think we had an opioid crisis because doctors were prescribing oxytocin and saying it wasn’t addictive. No peer review here.You believe what you want , I agree with Bobby- it’s good to be skeptical.

Oxytocin is not an opioid, it is a hormone naturally produced in the body. Research is inconclusive about the potential for addiction, in fact, it is sometimes used to treat addictive behaviors. And there is PLENTY of peer reviewed research about it, but not all studies agree conclusively. I agree it's good to be skeptical.
