It was so nice to have this audio first thing this morning. I echo Ellen. And it being an historical picture of immigration from the recent tragedy in Baltimore, (including such a quote from President Reagan!) paints the full and complex picture of the United States. “…Give me your tired, your poor,… Send these, your homeless, the tempest tost, to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!” This is an important message as we begin this Easter weekend. Thank you again and again
Amazing reasearch work, and done so quickly. You make it clear that history repeats over and over. We need to be reminded of that.
The Biden administration bringing everyone together during the bridge collision crisis is a textbook example on governing. Voting Blue is the only option, top down.
I love to read and listen to Letters from an American at the same time, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the audio available so early today. Thank y'all for the extra effort! You bring history alive and current.
Thank you, Heather! I don't know how many of your community listen to you read your written words later in the day, but I am surprised that more people do not "like" and comment. I for one, am very grateful. I feel as if I am sitting in your fascinating classes!
I’m writing because I’m concerned about a FB page called heather cox richardson community book club. They are posting some disturbing things that I’m sure you didn’t endorse but they are using your name.
Thank you for your hard work and brilliant insights. I’m grateful.
Thank you for having this ready to go so early in the morning! You work so hard to keep us informed. I really appreciate this.

Well said, Heather! I listen to your "Letters" every day and love the new audio format. We're all immigrants from somewhere. Thank you!

"The workers who died......they died as Americans" That statement sent chills through me. Thank you to all the immigrants who enrich our country.
