My personal reaction, when I heard that he and Ivanka were moving to a very ritzy part of Miami, was that they were simply investing their winnings from their association with the Trump presidency. If they did not support the extreme efforts of Trump and followers to overturn the 2020 election results, they could have done a lot more than just retire from the scene. They could have spoken up, for instance.
