Past time that the FBI started digging deep into the rotten Southern Baptist foundations. It appears that this church has as longstanding a culture of abuse as does the Catholic Church. Several hundred arrests and subsequent life sentences might break the back of that culture, and result in a severing of the connection between the Southern Baptist Convention and the Republican Party that has done so much damage to the country. These are the sorts of people who give Christianity a bad name in the larger world.
