Autumn begins on August 1 (Lunasa), Winter on November 1 ( Samhain pronounced Sowaine) , and Spring on February 1 (Imbolc). The solstices and equinoxes are the mid points. I learned about these dates from novels then Googled Celtic year quite a while ago. Enjoy!!😁
I live in LA a where it’s been the weirdest June I can remember except for today when it’s been gorgeous with temperature in the high 70s. I miss being able to feel the sun in a natural setting (rather than city streets) but thanks to Buddy’s photo I can feel it vicariously. Also my grandparents lived in New Hampshire so Buddy’s photos bring back memories I cherish.
You do such a good job of keeping us from going over the edge as we await further news on the indictments of a former president. The photo is beautiful and will help me sleep peacefully this warm summer night in Alabama. Thank you!
Heather, read the substack of Steve Schmidt... The Warning with Steve Schmidt... His view is cutting and real... and his grasp of reality and history are refreshing. His view bites into what’s what these days.
Buddy, once again your picture lets us feel as though we’re there in such a peaceful place. Have a nice slumber, you two.
Mary, I, too, so love Buddy’s photos that, at once, invite escape from the pragmatic and entrance into a world of wonder.
Peace is indeed a good thing. Nice slumber, too.
Gorgeous image. I can almost smell the salty air. Thank you for this and absolutely everything you do for us all♥️♥️♥️
Rest up, gentle warriors, holding ground for so many
Your generosity — of time, and knowledge, and wisdom —
Is a gift
I am grateful and wish you all the best
If you abide by Celtic seasons, summer began on Beltane, May 1. After all, the summer solstice is known as "midsummer". 😊
Meteorologic summer started June 1.
Love this. I never knew this! Thanks🍀

Thanks so much! Makes sense to me.
Lovely photo!
So beautiful. So serene. So away from all the noise of politics. Thank you both.
Lovely! And I had an enjoyable Juneteenth Celebration in my SoCal city, our 31st!

Just listened. Needs to be spread far and wide. Thank you for sharing.
He's really great. Was one one of the founders of the Lincoln Project.
Thank you for providing your perspective on things.
Pleasant dreams
Let’s all breathe in deeply these longer nights!
