I've been following (via TRMS) the story regarding wrongly convicted for murder Kevin Strickland, and the Governor's "not a priority" to reflect the 40 years he's' been in custody as anything other than a priority. As I Googled to get Strickland's name, I saw the story where he said he would pardon the white St. Louis couple from a couple years ago "if they were convicted". Priorities indeed.
Ally, even more heinous is his rationale: that Strickland should not "jump the line" and that there is a backlog of pardons--when he has been governor for over 4 years. So whose backlog is this??? It is horrific.

Exactly so. I cannot fathom the hubris here, either.
