While no one wants to see, or (God help us) hear another Goebbels, it's imperative that the federal government launch a vigorous information campaign to counter what the Russians, Chinese, and other malevolent foreign actors are doing in their bid to destabilize the U.S. and weaken the country's democracy. The threats to the country may be subtler now than they were during WW II, but they are no less real. President Biden can't afford to let this pass. In passing, it may be worth noting that foreign interference in elections has also become an issue in Canada, where I now live.

I see in the news that Joey Chestnut, of hot dog eating contest fame, will be prohibited from competing in the 2024 Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest because he took an endorsement deal.
Does that mean the contest's governing body, Major League Eating (MLE), has a higher standard of ethics than the U.S. Supreme Court?
