A million thanks, Barbara, for that vid.! Okay, I exaggerate: nine hundred, ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred ninety-nine thanks. I watched the whole vid. That deepens my commitment to a ticket alien to my politics but appealing to my basic decency. Thank you.

At this point, I will vote for the President even if he has formaldehyde in his veins. My sister has observed that many people will be voting for vice president in 2024 in view of the age of the candidates. Trump is going to pick a lackey or an opportunist whom I can not trust.
😠
So, even if I could get past the two presidential candidates to look at the vice presidential candidates, the die is cast. Politics is fun to debate and to gnash my teethe over. My politics changes over time; so, I now vote for character. The Democratic ticket has plenty of that to spare in 2024.
I agree with your sister, and I suspect this was part of Biden's calculation going into 2020. On the Republican side -- this is where it gets really, really interesting. No way will Trump go for a #2 capable of succeeding him, but the Project 2025 crowd *have* to be thinking along those lines.

Interesting to see if the Project 2025 cretins are in charge or if they let chump pretend a little longer.
Oh, they are definitely in charge. Trump is a stooge for authoritarians. Then, if he gets in, he will spiral outta control.
And then likely be replaced by a Heritage competent guy.
Presidents are generally replaced by their vice presidents. I'm extremely interested in who winds up as the GOP VP pick.
Chump may love his cult nuts, but my money is on money. Who will con who
Same here, but IMO it's a 60/40 or 70/30 split. I'd love to watch the fireworks over that one, but from a safe distance.
I’m afraid I know who will suffer the most damage
They *think* they're in charge. They may have underestimated what the power of a mob can do. And Trump is much better with mobs they they are.
Ditto Ned.
