I too thank you for the link. I hadn't seen the "Politics Girl" before. Wow, she's a spitfire for sure!
I am a Kamala fan too, although I retain some lingering doubts about her prosecutorial mindset, and wish she would ditch the HRC-esque pantsuits at least a couple times a week.

She has the "It" factor that most politicians do not. I have a pet theory that charismatic, good looking politicians (i.e., JFK, Reagan, Obama) are a few points up from the jump among undecided voters.
I think that if she were to be the Democratic nominee in Biden's stead, an outcome I am pulling for, she would lever her advantages more than the Pavlovian wave of MAGA racism could harm her.
MAGA racism and the attack ads that would surely issue forth from the GOP cesspool are only part of the problem. Don't look now but racism and sexism/misogyny are alive and well among people who always or usually vote Democratic.
Sadly agree, Susanna, for all that others in the world “look to us” for inspiration (holding us to an ideal we have not yet met IMHO) we are sure behind the 8-ball on these issues. Some states are far ahead of us nationally…hope we can, collectively, learn to do, to be, better soon!
