I'm Joe Biden's age and going strong. Willie Nelson is 91 and still doing concerts. President Biden could be the only one capable of trouncing XLV. He done it before and is in the prime place to do it again with 3,900 committed delegates.

It's the Elites calling for his withdrawal, not the rank and file primary voters. They aren't the preponderance of voters who think:

Trump, election denier, Project 2025 Platform seeking 3rd term Bad!

Incumbent President Biden, best working president since LBJ, Good!

I'm voting for a President, not a King!

My bumper sticker reads: "I'm voting for the Sane One!"

With the Democrats engaged in a circular firing squad, throwing a successful sitting Democratic president under the bus, it is most depressing.

Perhaps we have already passed the point of no return in turning the country over to the Christian Nationalists.

The media is poised, ready to pounce on any and every anticipated lisp or slip up to focus and magnify it beyond all proportions. This, in after ignoring a multitude of Trump's sins, lies and instances of criminal corruption.

It's not Joe's age. It's not his past record. It's his present cognitive abilities. If the choice were between democracy and dictatorship, it would not be a contest. Unfortunately, not enough people view the election that way. They may have, had the SOTU Biden shown up at the debate.

Whoever prepped President Biden for that awful debate should be shot!

Blue MAGA in full display.

I am loyal to The United States of America, not a candidate or a party. I'm grateful for all he has done, but Biden is too old, can barely string together a coherent sentence let alone run the country.

The presidency takes men in their 50s and spits them out looking 117. Not a job for a frail 81 year old.

Biden is acting like he's a King, he's effectively taking Trumps own talking point 'I alone can fix it'. Ridiculous.

Not an elite, just a lifelong Democrat and someone with eyes in my head who can't unsee what I saw. Enough with the gaslighting and hopium. Not stepping down is pure hubris and outrageously irresponsible.

The Republican manifesto, Project 2025, is one very scary work of fascism. The MAGA cult leader and his gang must be stopped.

I refer to Project 2025 as the Republican Party Platform. That's what it is! Even if King in Waiting Drumpf tries to distance himself from it that document is the closest thing they have to a platform--and it's still on line!.

Yet since XLV lies so much you can't count on a word he says. All he understands is Ratings, Ratings, Ratings. He said so himself.

I am sure there much in the platform from the manifesto but remember the vile trash is 902 pages long. Since the felon struggles with anything over 3 paragraphs it would stand to reason the repub platform is a tad bit shorter. Every citizen of the country should read all of it they can stomach and decide what part are they willing to have their children live with it.

How about the idea of the platform is whatever XLV thinks it is at any given time? Recall that he is able to declassify documents just by thinking that he declassifies them.

Magical thinking, yes! That's the benefit of being the King.

Hahaha! Good one! But you are correct, the platform will be whatever he wishes it to be at any given moment. Oh brother, what dumpster fire!

Folks,

A note! Whenever you must refer to the republican candidate, avoid using his name. Names have power and he deserves none. A trick I was taught when I belonged to my school's debate team. Drove the other team nuts.

I prefer calling him the bombastic bloviator from an outer borough. I used to say "from Queens" but I was scolded for that. There are many good people in Queens and one of my favorite professors lived in Forest Hills.

We love you Dr.

Great content for the soul.

If the Republicans would replace XLV as their nominee I would support President Biden if he chooses to release his delegates and throw his support ultimately to Gavin Newsom, freeing Kamala Harris to serve on SCOTUS.

Otherwise the Democratic hopefuls can get it together to run in the primary of 2028! That's the orderly way to become the party nominee! And Joe Biden and I will be around to cheer them on!

I am surprised that no one is talking about the worst case scenarios.

Worst case scenario if Biden is elected: Biden passes away and the government still runs like a Swiss watch.

Worst case scenario if Trump is elected: he stays alive and our democracy is destroyed.

Worse case if Joe is elected may be that Federal government just drifts, similar to the Buchanan administration. For instance, Ukraine is slowly forced to accept an unfavorable outcome. Could lead to a direct China challenge to Taiwan. Could also allow Hungary, Turkey, etc. to continue slow march to dictatorship. In equity resumes its increase in US, especially in high tech sector.

Many people do not see the choice quite as starkly as we do; they do not see the vote as between good and evil. If SOTU Biden had shown up at the debate, they might have.

President Biden is no stranger to the West Wing. He's endured the pressures of high office longer than anyone. Far from a king he's been extremely tolerant towards his doubters. His treatment is beginning to seem like unilateral elder abuse. The only poll that truly counts is the one on Election Day.
