Susan, you’re so right. I worked for the ABC-TV affiliate in Washington, DC during Watergate. Can you imagine how I feel about how low our Fourth Estate has since sunk? So many enforcements that kept radicalism in check then are gone now. They were chiseled away one after the other by the far right. Now, ownership of U.S.media is a short list of billionaires without conscience. The sameness is mind-numbing: literally and on purpose. We have to rely on smaller but more truthful sources — and each other.

He also said that he will no longer schedule anything after 4:00. I'm an old lady (8 years older than Biden) and need a nap every afternoon so I can stay up until midnight! ;-)

Exactly. This coup comes to look like an all-out assault that includes journalists who should have been expected to be responsible. Shameful.
