I would give anything to know what the Founding Fathers think about the state of the union and the diminishment of the Constitution by a sinister anti-America party.
As somebody commented this morning, it will be a long, long time before we finally recognize all the damage that the Republican Party has done. Their attack on democracy and their crimes against the American People have distracted us from dealing with profound problems, like saving the human race from the devastating effects of climate change. We are at the point now where whatever is done will be too little, too late I'm afraid.
For the record Christine, I've always admired your indefatigable tenacity and positive nature. You are the player that every team needs to win the championship.

We have better arguments now than just “ outside of norms and traditions”, or laws with little to no consequences if broken.
