John, I disagree with your digging in to this negativity. I believe that even each Republican in Congress who have sheepishly remained silent will need to confront his or her conscience and also the constituents who will see and hear the truth of these witnesses.

Sorry Sharon but “conscience”? We have waited and waited for the majority of the politicians of the GOP to display the slightest hint of conscience through two impeachment hearings and the vote for a bilateral hearings commission. There has been no hint of conscience from this party. Those that do display conscience and the accompanying morals and values are immediately drummed out.
Yes, Christian, it is true that they did show an incredible lack of conscience, morals and integrity but the mules/sheep were following their leaders Mitch and Kevin… but even TFG ( I hate saying his name also) is bashing those two so perhaps the sheep/mules will get a clue that TFG is never going to have their backs either. I have hope they will begin to realize they are there because their constituents put them there. Not Kevin, not Mitch, not TFG. Over 70% of Americans want the truth, the other less than 30% could care less about the truth. They bought the tainted kool aid knock off. These committee hearings aren’t going away any time soon, an infrastructure bill ( 2 of them) are going to come. WINTER IS COMING for the Qupublicans. Change is in the air. Have hope. Stay positive but not complacent. Speak the truth to any voter who will listen. Help them off the fence. My new mantra…”Words matter. Thoughts become things. What you believe you conceive.” This mantra has worked for me before.
Brava, to you Sharon for recognizing that we are not stuck in the Trump Show. There is much to do before the midterms. When one, the bi-partisan infrastructure plan, and, perhaps the larger one, is or are passed, Americans will start to be more hopeful, and there will be jobs galore. Stepping up vaccine inoculation is crucial, too. Without speaking specifically about any subscribers, in general some folks hold on to their negativity because they don't want to be disappointed again. Of course, that is no way to win our struggle for democracy. I believe that the chance of passing a strong enough version of the For the People Act will be better in the fall. A couple of our many strengths -- working together and hoping that the naysayers have an awakening -- are our tools as we move forward.
