Karma visited Trump today. Trump championed the NRA. He LOVED the money that padded his pockets along with many of the congressmen. He would do NOTHING about the gun problem. Many little children died at the hands of a bullet. I have no sympathy for him.

I was thinking of all the UNNECESSARY DEATHS due to his LIES & his mishandling of Covid. The worst in the world. I have NO sympathy for him.

After his own attorney said Trump could use the SEALS to take out an opponent and get immunity, and now SCOTUS has made that possible…I have no sympathy for him.

After he was responsible for Roe vs Wade getting overturned causing many women in life threatening medical distress, I have no sympathy for him.

I was thinking Trump is a TRAITOR to our country in many ways. He just met with Orban. What is he cooking up? Perhaps this is KARMA.

BTW, wasn’t it Trump that recently said traitors should be shot? It’s okay for HIM to incite and cause violence.

Remember the deaths that occurred on January 6th? Did he have sympathy for those people? Did he have sympathy for the men that died or were captured in war? No, he did not. I have NO sympathy for traitor Trump. (My new nickname for him). Donald Trump has a black heart.

Marlo - Karma does Karma’s work and I think we should just tend to our own knitting as the saying goes… what happened this evening takes us down to his level where we should never be… IMHO… let’s live above the line…. Thinking of life’s abundance, remembering that all you meet have traveled a difficult road… love your passion and your mission🙏

No one is talking about the person that was killed. THAT’s the REAL tragedy.

The person killed was probably more of an upstanding citizen than Trump who has managed to evade the law with the help of he handpicked Supreme Court Court.

As my sister said, "Just standing anywhere near Future Inmate Trump, both literally and figuratively, is very dangerous. I hope people are listening . . ."

And my two cents: long-distance ear piercing must be done carefully, or not at all.

Nobody could have been less upstanding than Trump.

He died protecting his family from the shooter.

ironically, the shooter was a registered republican who loved guns. The problem with this is that trump is going to be elevated to a martyr and will continually point out how he risked his life for his followers. Not good.

Two good things about this are1} it shows the difference between the democrats wishing him well and condemning the violence while trump repeatedly mocked the attack of Pelosi's husband.

The second thing is that trump actually got to see how it feels to have someone shoot at hm and what it felt like to be shot even though it probably was only a flesh wound. It should, but won't, give him an appreciation of what our soldiers (especially the disabled ones) have gone through. maybe h might review his stance on guns.

I agree that traitors should be shot. . .and guess who should be first on the list for the firing squad. Three guesses, and the first two don't count.

I guess now he can say he shed some blood “for his country” since he lied about his bone spurs to avoid the draft.

Hey, since he called those who were injured in war “suckers and losers” does this mean he thinks of himself as a sucker or loser?

Maybe it was a vigilante who was so disgusted at Trump creating a corrupt court that didn’t provide the justice that SHOULD have happened BEFORE the election and saw him convicted.

THAT FELON SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ON THE BALLOT! That was UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!

Amen to your last paragraph, Mario. It made no more sense to allow him on the ballot than it would have made to allow Jefferson Davis or Robert E. Lee on the ballot in 1868.

Now trump has actual experience being shot at and shot. A tiny fraction of what our soldiers endure. His wound looked like the equivalent to a hang nail.

I mentioned before that the shooter was a gun loving, registered republican.

I heard that he had been involved in school shootings in the past.

Why doesn't that surprise me.

You go, Heather. Your work almost makes up for the near-total lack of history instruction in our schools these days. . .almost.

Listening Sunday, the day after the violence……WOMEN! Regardless of the backlash of yesterday’s catastrophe, it is up to us to “ STAY CALM AND CARRY ON’ and continue to get out the vote for the Democrats to SAVE DEMOCRACY FOR OUR BELOVED AMERICA!!! As Rosie said during the Second World War:

“WE CAN DO IT”!!! THE FORCE of the SOURCE is with us. BREATHE!!!

Firing people. Like the possibility of firing 1,000s of non political experienced, knowledgeable employees because they are doing their job, don't agree with trump's policies and question him. Example when the experienced trump sharpied a new line for the landing of a hurricane. The experienced weathermen said no. The hurricane did not land where trump said it would. In this new world, the weathermen would praise him for his prediction and not correct him. Thus leaving thousands of people with false information.

The question was posed; do you want some novice working on nuclear weapons or deriving new vaccines?

What was not mentioned about rolling back to 1960 was the income tax rate.

Over $200K income (2M+ in today's $) was taxed at a rate of 91%

The irony and karma of it all! There are many verses in the Bible expounding the meaning of "You Reap What You Sow", most strongly in Galatians 6:7-8. Sowing and reaping relate to our actions, choices, and consequences in life. Trump said he could take a stroll in the streets of New York, shoot someone he did not like and not get arrested! And he has planted the seeds of hate in so many ways! Ann the letter from Melania! And yet, the fake christian trump thinks he is immune!!

I think it is the trumpers who are the violent ones. Look at Jan 6th. Look at trump' vocabulary Blood bath, retribution, execution, fight (even as he was walking off the stage he had his fist raised like Hawley and was either yelling fight or f---k.

While E. B. White is the greatest essayist in the English language of the 20th Century, the idea that he is a Maine writer is contested:
