I lived in NYC and NY state for 34 years and loved it, but that was a different era. Visiting my son, who still lives there, before the election I was thrilled to see so many Biden-Harris signs so we should be grateful to them!

I, too, lived in New York State (Buffalo) but was born and raised in Staten Island, a borough of NYC. I am horrified to see how SI has become such a radical right wing nut house. Way over the line of rationality!

Lived in NYC 30+ years - still have a cabin upstate. I love the city and always will. It is a special place.

Longtime Boston resident here. I love NYC, even like the people. There's only 25 New Yorkers I don't like. They're all on the Yankees.

Ha! My parents hailed from Boston. Went to Fenway with the cousins on my last visit in 2018 ... but the Yankee blue runs deep in this branch of the family.
