At the risk of unreasonably belaboring this topic, a Military Times article from Nov 7, 2020, cites exit polls showing a 52-45 edge in voting for Trump over Biden. If that’s 40% down from 2016, then the 2016 Trump vote in the military would have been over 85%. The 52% figure is not as bad as I thought it might have been, but the 85% is worse than I would have expected. I have limited contact with military people now (never had a lot, but did have some, mostly commissioned officers who were students or research scientists/engineers), but I often see estimates saying things lije 90% of TV hours on military bases showing Fox, which is beyond worrisome if true.
