I so agree ...especially with your last sentence. There is so much noise noise noise that it's impossible to filter out what's really happening versus what all the voices are saying is happening. Sadly, this leads to several equally difficult choices: 1. Tune everything out; 2. Only tune into one silo or another; 3. Try on your own to sort things out, which turns out to be not only exhausting but impossible. I find that reading Heather's letters on a daily basis helps keep me in touch with reality, but even though she's done all the work, it's still exhausting trying to parse it all, on intellectual and emotional levels.

The only way to get people's attention these days is to control the microphone. I am appalled at how few people admit to actually reading anything.

Yes, I know people who just cannot handle it and have tuned out. Think of how much energy and time many of us here use to stay informed, active and connected. It is worth it, we will not go easily. But Fox & tfg must be banned from spewing anymore propaganda. How did other countries do that?
