The government gave tax dollars to a program created and administered by people of faith, helping people in need. For a shared goal - breaking the cycle of poverty.

OK here is my favorite Jewish joke.

A rabbi has two candidates for one place in his school. He takes them out for a walk through the countryside. They see a magnificent bird flying above some fields. The rabbi turns to a candidate and asks 'What do you see?" The candidate says "I see the pure soul soaring to Heaven to be one with God." The rabbi then asks the second candidate the same question. The candidate says "It is a very large bird. It it drops dead, landing on both sides of the border marking two fields, who is responsible for cleaning up the mess?" The rabbi accepts the second candidate.

I think the commandment of love is much more difficult to comprehend and to put in action than obeying 'every jot and tittle of the law.' If I understand correctly, Christ is the fulfillment of the law. So you all get to eat cheeseburgers. But ... Christ has shown love beyond all understanding of man, and has given His life for man's sins. Whew. How does one live up to that?

"How does one live up to that?"

No one can.

No one ever has.

No one ever will.

We all sin, every day.

But,

We, who believe, are ALREADY forgiven our sins.

Yes, and even those who choose not to believe will be forgiven all of their sins.

INDEED!

A Love that is beyond our capacity to fully comprehend, Eh!?

Wonderful!!!
