I wish I had something more substantial to contribute to the conversation this morning, but all I can think of is Marjorie "Traitor" Greene just brought a spoon to a knife fight.

What I find strange about these folks like MTG is their hue and cry that people are spying on them. One of the first things one ought to learn is when one works for the public one’s work is not private, it’s public. The email address the school gave me didn’t belong to me, my desk didn’t belong to me, etc. Public servants serve the public. Donald Trump’s paper output doesn’t belong to him, Representative What’s-his-butt’s white board contents in a congressional office doesn’t belong to him. They belong to the people who elected them to do a job. They appear to me to be acting like an elitist tribe, above the laws of the government (we, the people).

😆

When I was a freshly minted jail deputy 36 years ago, I noted that the only piece of silverware permitted the inmates was a soup spoon. I hope Madame Three Names is getting ready.

I had a friend mark herself safe from the gazpacho police, so social media is busy with gangrene who in reply posted something that made no sense about goulash.

Never forget! People voted for her 😳. We reap what we sow. People are a resource, that needs nourishment, not poison.

It is ugly out there, I do understand. But I believe LOVE will be stronger if we will feed it persistently & consistently. Alex Vindeman’s wife posted on Twitter about loss of income because of standing up for what’s right. Sadly that’s what happens to so many when they take a stand and don’t sell their soul to the highest bidder. Selling one’s soul for profit has become part and parcel of the American Dream and delivered us a spray painted glitzy gold souless idol

As a self-confessed elite (educated person), after I finished guffawing I wondered if there should be an IQ threshold for public servants. Then I realized how elitist that sounded and laughed some more. Better than crying, I guess…

There are times when I'm close to calling the right wing ignorant pot-stirrers the worst of names. Their catch-all "elitist" term is their name for us, and I visualize rabid cretins red in the face from screaming. I hope you don't absorb their bilious shouts. That's what they want us to do.
