Why is noone blocking Musk and his traitors? Where are the police? The FBI? Is no one in our government protecting us?

Wray Resigned and 9 FBI top executive fired. I don’t expect Pam Bondy to send any FBI agents or US Marshalls, let alone Donnie’s treasury secretary sending Treasury Agents. Who’s left to enforce the law? That’s why it’s a coup take over.

Here is hoping the plaintiffs class action bar is paying close attention to what Mr. Musk is doing. As I understand it, he is NOT a government employee but a private individual and therefore would not have the protection of being a government employee. Does what I say here make any sense...??

Why aren’t the names & faces of Musk’s 20 year olds software engineers that invaded the treasury on the front page of every newspaper in America/?

No. Not yet.

Hostile takeover is exactly what this is.

If the South African and his goon squad cannot be arrested for the heist of this country's checkbook, I guess it is over. Everyone should quickly get the food and medicines they need. Then wait out this hostile takeover. Or the revolution!

I'm in agreement. Do we all just wait and see?

Since the Felon is in charge there is no telling what changes will occur at any given moment.

I agree that this takeover of the payment system is the reconciliation bill without the actual bill, the theft of Congressional power the GOP laid out a royal purple carpet for him to take, and it is the threat of all threats against any American's thoughts to resist them without even a single brown shirt in sight. That said, I don't think we have to say it's over but I don't mean that quite like others do.

As many others have been saying, we've needed for a long time to admit that we have entered a different time, one that's been coming though not in this accelerationist's wet dream burn it all down sort of way. Our new reality is that the US will never be the top dog in the world again. That's over; we're just waiting for the yuan to be officially named as the new global reserve currency. That being the case, what we've needed to do and haven't yet, which is also what we'll need to do after this current nightmare ends too, is to devise and implement plans for a US that benefits the most people in post-coup, post-neoliberal capitalism, post-MAGA mania, and post-global leader America. We need to get busy and put this plan out there where the people who will be totally screwed throughout this current calamity will be able to see an attractive alternative to what we've had even before the dust settles on what we'll be left with after this nightmare comes to its inevitable end.

To be clear, I'm not convinced it will be Democrats who will provide that vision and path forward in our new reality. Possibly they will but not certainly.

So, yes, what's happened with the payment system coup is absolutely a turning point, but I don't think we wait or give up. We get clear-eyed about where we find ourselves and work toward the transformed future, barring nuclear annihilation of course, that we've needed since the '70s. What that future will look like exactly, its social and financial systems and its government, will depend on how and what we work on now. We've seen what doesn't work so I say that even as we fight to mitigate as much damage as possible now, we also get to work finding the things that will work, and there are loads of great ideas out there waiting for us. Oh, and most if not all of these billionaire traitors will likely move on to the new capitols of the global world where they have a foothold even now, so at least there's that.

I agree with most of what you have said here if not all. I have kept my comments short because quite frankly, few listen when it goes on for more than 4 sentences.

I have been saying for years, that all is not well in our country, our constitution, our view of the economy, our political parties, but alas, it was me making noise. Hopefully, the new generation that is engaged and wants to do the fix and repair will do it. Some folks are already doing more than just talking about a shadow government. It will take a lot of time and work.

I think we are nudging part of the problem a bit and by that I mean the Democratic party but of course it isn't enough. But it gives me hope that we have an environment now where things are gonna get so bad that people will be hungrier for better ideas than they were before and we won't just be alone making noise. We might actually do some nudging of us regular folks that will work. In the meantime, I say we keep making noise, both the long and short kind.

Thank you . I see that the Democrats in Congress have had a Presser today it’s about time . Hopefully not too little , too late. Trump needs to be impeached.

Impeachment will never happen until Dems win the house and have 60% in senate. And that is provided there is an election in 2026. I listen to so much of this stuff, but I think it was Lincoln Project, get every lawyer out there sympathetic to blocking this, to grab a group and stand up to these fascists. Nothing personal, but none of the Nazi saluter’s baby college cowboys’ names sounded like citizens. Instead of giving them H1B visas, I wish we’d given them a ton of H5N1 up their noses and down their throats and in a few more orifices. Good on HCR for doxing the doggies. Woof woof. God (who I no longer believe in) help us. You know what I mean.

Libertarians do not like government because, as liberal extremists, they believe that the only valid control of freedom and of the exercise of rights is the individual and the government is a tool of special interests. So, Musk, a libertarian, is acting to further the libertarian agenda of destroying government's ability to regulate at all levels such that the GOP's wealthy donors cannot be regulated. This has been the GOP's goal since the Powell Memo.

But it must be understood that history shows that "markets" never solve problems, they create them. Problems are solved by competent individuals and political will. Therefore, good people must act to ensure that the GOP lose power.

Wake-up congress and act, law-makers unite against this takeover of our, the peoples' institutions meant to protect, regulate and secure our county. We need to combine forces to put together an opposition that matters! These guys are meglomaniacs, bullies run wild! We are on a path to isolationism. Who wants to engage with a two-headed crazed , power hungry king?

Write your reps and senators every day telling them you want Musk out. that he has no business having access to our private records. both Dems and repubs. Ask them to have press conferences every day about what they plan to do about the breaches in our govt. About trumps illegal acts. What are they doing and what they plan to do.
