Ms.Witmer: I am well aware that a $15 minimum wage is not a livable wage anywhere in the country. Nonetheless, I imagine the 60% living precariously from paycheck to paycheck, wherein the family income, in many cases, is only sustained by more people working longer hours, and still they’re weighted down by mortgage debt, credit card debt, and the like, would relish a minimum wage that had more than doubled.

Moreover, I would note that the $15 was but one item within a long list of items framed around a larger argument, wherein the list was not my main point. Hence, I am left wondering why you chose to deliver a lecture that focused exclusively on the inadequacy of the proposed minimum wage increase.
