MLK's oft repeated claim that the arc of history always bends toward justice is admirable but that arc is so long and so often obstructed/detoured that those in most need of justice at the moment will not be around to see/enjoy justice; at least, I fear that is the case. If Vindman is successful in his suit, that arc may be back on track.
This lawsuit comes at a key time, as if the clarion call for Trump to be outed, is marching closer and soon. We are watching in real time his desperation, including his hate for his VP who stood beside him after 1/6. That should be a lesson to the others who have been thrown under the bus, but so far there is still abundant silence. Or at least that brings some hope to the increasingly disillusioning state of our nation.
