I cannot agree because I think a vote for Trump was an unforgivable crime against humanity and that the white voters at least, who comprised the vast majority of Trump voters, were motivated to do so almost entirely by the Republican promise to do everything they can to preserve systemic white advantages in legal, political, and social opportunities. The obscenely wealthy have different motivations and are even worse, in a sense, but greed is not a primary factor in for 99% of white Trump voters.
