Any pushback from Trump is hollow and hypocritical since a razor-thin majority of Americans pardoned him!

It was not a razor thin majority, it was a thin plurality. More people of voting age did not vote than voted for trump or VP Harris. The whole premise that trump has a mandate is misguided at best. trump has not been pardoned, just made illegible for prosecution. Maybe trump's next round of criminality will stimulate a response from Republicans who might, somewhere, have a shred of honesty left.

Talk about razer thin, Wayne, I've mentioned this b4 but the update as of this am w 1% of the ballots still being counted is: the Harris DJT vote totals today on NYT are

49.9% Trump; 50.1% not Trump

48.3% Harris

1.6% Other;

Less than half of voters voted for Trump, so how is that a "mandate" to wreck the republic?!

Trump won the presidency not by the people voting for him but by others failing to show up for Vice President Harris and Governor Gipper.

Sadly, with the results being what they are, I believe it will be even harder to encourage people to vote moving forward. Great efforts were made to engage people who hadn't voted before for this election, beyond what I've seen in my voting years, and the idea that "it won't matter anyway" was given more weight in light of being told on repeat about said (false) "mandate".

Sadly, 1/3 to 1/2 of the electorate don't vote, been that way since before i was a kid in the 50s. ALL Presidents have been elected by pluralities. Australia it's a legal requirement to vote, though they push hot dogs at the voting booths, not punitive measures.

Sorry, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, Wayne.

It will if trump's policies start hitting their pocketbooks, as it will with tariffs, job loss and economic downturn. I would not be surprised if trump and company cause a depression. After all, they do not care about the folks who vote for them.

If any addict, in my position of being fortunate enough to fall down completely after only a few years, states that (s)he was never like Mr Biden, please dismiss that trite tripe roundly, s.v.p.
