I would increase that number of COVID deaths. The illness was allowed to get a foothold and mutate enough that when Biden took office the Country was already afire with it, so deaths under Biden’s watch were still a direct result of Trump’s carelessness.

I am going to be the Contrarian here. Attacking Trump and/or defending Biden on COVID is a real waste of energy. Covid was an unexpected pandemic with no real defense available at the time. Trump made mistakes to be sure (his normal approach to anything makes that virtually assured) but I don't think ANY president would necessarily have done better. Biden walked in and took advantage of what had already been done under Dr. Fauci and when the first round of vaccinations helped millions and slowed the spread of Covid, he was heralded, but to be fair, he just got lucky. And then when Covid continued to come back over and over again (and is still coming back even now) people got bored and just turned away.
It is a sad and tragic thing that happened to all of us and I think it is b somewhat unfair b to blame it all on Trump and give Biden medals.
The reality is that it was a horrible thing we had to all go through, no one (not even the esteemed Fauci) really knew how to solve it except to try to get a vaccine out quickly which they did in record time and in the end a lot fewer people died later on, but it didn't end the crisis.
I think it is unfair to blame all the deaths on Trump (as it could just as easily have been a Democrat in charge when things went south and no one knew the best things to do) and to give Biden accolades for "solving" it which he really didn't, he was just in the right place at the right time.
That said, Biden did help reduce the fear by governing with a more steady hand whereas Trump had done little to help much.
But it still feels like an imbalance to blame all the death and destruction on Trump and give all the rewards to Biden.

Yes. It was about a million.
That is the lower bound of estimates. That number is shocking enough. The clown nearly killed himself and Chris Christie.
We should have been so lucky.
