I really don't mind the government supplying convalescent plasma, I do mind that it is being used in lieu of a program of vaccinations, masks, social distancing, and hand hygiene. It is NOT a replacement for all these things, it can be a life saving treatment for people very sick with covid-19, but it is costly in terms of healthcare worker hours and dollars. $10 of vaccine 15 min of health care worker time vs a $10,000 treatment that requires hours, if not days of health care worker time.
