This Prof. Richardson at her best. For me, American political history is a peripheral interest, and when I subscribed to her Substack, I fully expected to be that student in the back of the classroom, yawning and fighting to stay awake. Yet, I find myself motivated to learn more, whether she is presenting broad sweeps of history, or dives down into the weeds.
I also appreciate the history. I've always wondered: "Did the writers of the Constitution expect that people would vote to elect the Electors in the Electoral College as we do today? If not, when did the 'people' (propertied white males) start voting to select them?
The energy of the DNC has given my heart life.
I greatly appreciate the history that you share in blogs like this one. Thank you.
Look forward to hearing the context for the RFK concerns and his alliance with Trump

I often listen to the audio in the morning before you’ve recorded the version in your voice. I’ll be waiting for that version from now on.
Wearing my Grateful shirt today…your letters are one of the things I’m grateful for. ✌🏻

Who and when do we vote Electors to the Electoral College. How do we know who they are?

And history repeats itself and hopefully we really will see this democratic nominee will be elected to change history again.
Wonderful ! I enjoyed listening to your Electoral History of America !
I love the audio versions. I just have one suggestion. Perhaps consider editing out the swallow sounds. 🤔
