Frank Figliuzzi says over and over that lone wolves are a problem. What if a lone wolf shoots up the courtroom as a signal for a general uprising of the crazies? The numbers of guns and shootings, even with police forces on alert has not stopped the mass killings. If Trump allies organize…?

You are consumed with presenting “what ifs”. That courthouse normally has excellent security, I’m sure. For this trial and probably prior to it, that security will be multiplied logarithmically. I would expect the normal security metal detector gates and probably additional wanding. Entrance will likely be restricted to persons with a legitimate purpose in being there. Just in case your next “what if” is about bombs: 1. A bombing risks maiming or killing their dear leader. 2. If you don’t think there will be multiple bomb-sniffing dogs patrolling before and during the trial, think again.

At this point , I have two suggestions for you:

1. Please see a doctor and ask for some meds for your anxiety, or

2. Stop trying to troll on this Substack.

I am not trolling, also not thinking about INSIDE the courthouse except that national TV would allow for a signal from there for violence anywhere in the country. Remembering what was plotted from DC by the don and by whom it was carried out, noting that with each indictment he gains in the polls, having lived through Jonestown, learning of disaffected police and military, although I am not concerned for my own safety, I am concerned for the safety of those he has spoken against and poll workers everywhere. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the numbers of assault weapons have increased since 1/6. Just want those of us, myself included, who are curious about what defense the don’s lawyers will be able to mount and how jurors will react, to think of all the possibilities as we ask to watch the proceedings.

Virginia, I apologize for misinterpreting your questions. I suppose live TV would present him with the opportunity to call on his supporters, as he did during the debates, when he said “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by.” I still believe that the presence of so few protesters at his arraignments indicates a lack of willingness to risk arrest to demonstrate, much less try to disrupt the court proceedings. To what end? His followers are generally less educated, but most are not stupid. They don’t need to break him out of jail, he’s out on bond. I can’t picture trump living the rest of his life in hiding as a fugitive. Even if they could disrupt the proceedings sufficiently, it would end up as a mistrial and the charges would be filed again. Even if he could end up getting the charges dismissed, he’s got two more trials waiting and another arraignment soon.

Donald’s MAGAts love to scream and shout agreement at his rallies, but that’s a whole different, insular world. I trust our court system and our law enforcement to be planning for any and all possible disruptions.

Thank you, Danielle. I hope that everything we who are curious about how this trial will go and feel confident that watching it is a good are correct. But remembering “Russia, are you listening?, etc. and the appeal to the Proud Boys also on National TV, never forgetting that DT IS a MOB BOSS and a TV “staras well as a badly brought up child, Frank Figliuzzi’s warning about lone wolves, and what happened to Paul Pelosi, a blood bath seems to be what we want to avoid any chance of. May everything I’ve questioned never happen!

Thank you for teaching me what a “troll” is. I had a clue, but now I know!

I hope things go safely if not smoothly. I believe that those persons who are in charge of security have been brainstorming even more “what ifs” than you have and have plans on how to deal with all of them. A courtroom is a very controlled place, especially with as competent a judge as this one. Mostly the attorneys and the witnesses do all the talking, so there’s no stage for trump to perform on. He will perform outside, but they reduced that by having him enter from the underground parking, for security. No opportunity there. He was very subdued in the courtroom. A lone wolf is a possibility, but security will be tight and would end it quickly. So I will trust that the people in charge will be well-prepared for almost any possibility and 🤞it will be secure and safe. Take a deep breath and leave the worrying to the people who are getting paid a lot more than we are to worry about it.

Having just heard that Trump has taken the path of speaking his mind, foregoing silence, let us hope that the only surprises are Jack Smith’s. This may be mayhem.

As I wrote before, I am not worried about myself but about our good leaders whose security may not be adequate for Trump’s cultists with automatic rifles.
