Again, I want to be clear. I agree with you about Romney the businessman. I also agree the GOP as currently constituted as a Kool Aid drinking Party in thrall to the Seditionist Sociopath must be reconstituted, after some seriously tough love and cleansing.
Yet, it is of critical importance that we do not succumb to the tribalism of the MAGAites.
Romney is someone I would never vote for, but he has actual character and in these strange times, a certain courage. That is needed and to be respected.
Similarly, Murkowski directly took on the MAGAites and won, and while I wouldn't vote for her either due to her position on substantive issues (primarily her terrible environmental record), she clearly does have back bone and a soul, and a loyalty to constitutional governance.
