The judges think that too. And they are trying to strike a balance between reining in a sociopath, and giving the sociopath the martyr status he craves.

Mine, too, Jeri! And then the creek (Ohio River) did rise, reinforcing that bit of wisdom. Mom was 13 when she learned that you canтАЩt deliver on promises if the creek decides otherwise!

The Ohio River flood of 1937 took place in late January and February 1937. With damage stretching from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Cairo, Illinois, 385 people died, one million people were left homeless and property losses reached $500 million ($10.2 billion when adjusted for inflation as of September 2022).

Wow, what a story. My mom never had to face such a comeuppance. Had no idea such a thing happened in that area. Or anywhere in the USA. Wisdom can be complicated...

Lock him up. dotard will be a PITA everyday until he's expired. Maybe even somehow after that. He's a disgusting pox. So he might as well be made to follow the rules/laws, regardless of whether the dotardians are riled or not. It would be a sad damn event for a former, though completely awful, U.S. president to be jailed, but if any former president was asking for that, dotard should be the one to set that precedent. Nixon was coddled. He shouldn't have been. It's also a mistake to coddle the crybaby, dotard.

Anyone who has grown up around bullies knows that you don't make them stop by accommodating them. They just bully harder, trying to find your limits and trying to get away with as much as they possibly can.

Bullies also find out that many of their supporters disappear when their bluff is called.

Trump will be jailed sooner or later, unless the Devil gets him first. Better to call contempt, jail him now and take the inevitable pain from his supporters, who will be fewer in number when they realize he can be punished and isn't the untouchable superman he makes himself out to be.

I'm with you. My parents didn't coddle my bro who had a birth defect. . Poor and uneducated but way smarter than the chump parents.
