Lindsay Graham is a shining example. Prior to Trump, I could never have imagined Graham spewing and backing hatred. This was a conservative senator who I’d had a few moments of respect for, lost his friggin’ MIND after the death of John McCain. Became hair on fire crazy, and a fevered cult follower of Trump. Why would Graham debase himself so willingly? His entire demeanor became bizarrely unfamiliar. He is supporting a hate filled destruction of America. They all are.
Two things that comes to mind as a catalyst, 1st; subverted lawmakers saw to not only did dark money flow into their pockets, but also into forming and recruiting from fringe groups of white supremacists. The G.W. Bush administration is when it went into high gear. Giving these fringe groups rise and confidence to follow a “leader” who would blatantly commit crimes in front of the world with no one willing to hold him accountable. Bush absolutely did that.
2nd; Barrack Obama. The election of Barrack Obama inflamed the hatred of white supremacy so deeply, they began recruiting more fervently and deeply indoctrinated the members to hate everyone and everything they didn’t identify with.
Trump didn’t expect to win in 2016. Someone else did, they made it happen. Someone who knew what a malleable, corruptible, narcissistic personality disorder, so morally bankrupt, would throw puppies in a river if it meant another fix of attention, useful idiot he could be turned into. Just look at the path of devastation of human rights in our country since his placement in the Oval Office. The SCOTUS has been taking rights of Americans away and granting more and more power to white supremacy backed ideals for 40 years, but the last 20 (since Bush) have been deeply harmful to our democracy.
Women, all women are the targeted group. Once women are controlled by forced birthing laws, their rights will become less and less. Until we’re back to none whatsoever.
Now that they’ve clearly stated their intentions to rule, not govern, I am watching the whole power hungry party collapse in on itself. Willing to cannibalize their own, by refusing women necessary health services in red states, first and foremost. Then they’ll dummy themselves down to no healthcare for anyone. They’ll dwindled down to nothing but Sarah Huckabee Sanders governing a swamp to Kristie Noem talking to dirt. Idaho will look like a landscape on Mars. They’ve killed off plenty of their own with the anti vaccine COVID B.S. alone. The implosion will be spectacular. It will finally end a civil war that began 163 years ago. Hopefully more than 2 parties emerge from this crisis.
